Attorneys at Legal Advocates, LLC are all licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut and are available via phone or e-mail to answer your legal questions at any time of the day. Our team endeavors to put our clients in a better financial position. In order do so, we focus on helping clients obtain, sell or refinance their homes. We can also help our clients plan for the unpredictable future, with the creation of a will, trust, power of attorney, or health care directive.We understand that clients are often apprehensive about the cost of hiring an attorney. Rest assured that Legal Advocates, LLC offers free legal consultations. A consultation will entail the discussion of your issue, the recommended approach to resolve that issue and the fee associated with getting your issue resolved. Our firm is conveniently located in Meriden, Exit 17 on I-91 or Exit 8 on I-691. We currently offer the following services:
• Residential Real Estate: Our attorneys can review your closing documents, represent you at your closing, or provide advice to help you get into the home of your dreams. We can prepare your closing paperwork, ensure that all of the necessary steps are taken prior to closing (including inspection and appraisal) and keep you consistently notified throughout the process. We will make sure you are aware of any title issues that exist prior to closing and provide solutions to remedy any existing issues. We are able to represent buyers, sellers or lenders throughout the State of Connecticut.
• Probate Services: Our attorneys can help you with your estate planning needs from drafting a will to creating a trust. You may also need help determining the appropriate executor for your estate, where you want your estate taxes to be paid from and how your funeral expenses will be covered. Also, planning in the event you or a loved one becomes sick or disabled is always recommended. To that end, we can draft a power of attorney and/or a health care directive so that you are better prepared for life’s unexpected occurrences.

Our Team
SHARI ANN MADHO, ESQ.
Shari Ann Madho is the Managing Attorney of Legal Advocates, LLC. She primarily practices in the area of real estate and has conducted over a thousand residential real estate closings across the state of Connecticut. She also has experience in other areas of law such as insurance law, family law, trust and estates, business organization and contracts. She is also a Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (“CATIC”) agent. Shari graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010, and is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and District of Columbia. In her free time, Shari enjoys spending time with her family and working with her husband to restore their 1850 Victorian home.
BRENT MADHO, ESQ.
Brent Madho is an Associate Attorney with Legal Advocates LLC. Brent practices primarily in the area of Real Estate and has conducted closings throughout the State of Connecticut. Brent also practices in the areas of estate planning and business administration. Brent graduated from Western New England University School of Law where he earned several awards in the areas of Patent Law, Law Office Management, and Taxation. In addition, Brent was awarded the Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company Award for excellence in the area of Real Property Law. Brent enjoys reading, rollerblading, ice skating and yard work.
ALYSSA TURNER, ESQ
Alyssa Turner is an Associate Attorney for Legal Advocates, LLC, practicing primarily in real estate law. She graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2013 with a concentration in tax law and is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut. She is also a Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (“CATIC”) agent. Before coming to Legal Advocates, LLC, she clerked in Superior Court and Probate Court for a few years each, as well as serving as a law clerk in private practice for family law and worker’s compensation. Attorney Turner currently lives in Wethersfield with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
ABBIGALE KARRICK
Abbigale is a Paralegal at Legal Advocates, LLC and joined the team in 2017. After earning her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Tunxis Community College, Abbigale attended Sacred Heart University to become a Paralegal and is currently furthering her education in a Bachelor’s program at Central Connecticut State University. In addition to her role as a Paralegal, Abbigale is a Notary Public for the State of Connecticut and a title agent for Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (“CATIC”). She is continuing her career in the legal field and strives to become a practicing attorney.
JOSEPH ROSS, ESQ
Joseph Ross is an Associate Attorney at Legal Advocates, LLC. He is a lifelong resident of Connecticut who earned his Juris Doctorate from Western New England University School of Law in 2010. He began practicing at a boutique firm specializing primarily in regulatory compliance for the mortgage industry, before moving on to a title company and eventually into his current position which has a primary focus on residential real estate transactions. In his current position, Joseph has conducted hundreds of closings throughout Connecticut. He lives in Naugatuck with his partner and enjoys gardening in his spare time.
